Welcome to the new home of VanToai-Shesser Production and Management. It's a continuous work in progress, but we couldn't be happier with the layout and design. It's an exciting time for us right now - a lot's going on and we have a lot to look forward to - and now that we have our website out of the way, we can focus solely on bringing our flagship group Mission South to the stage. Every show will be recorded for free distribution, but no recording will ever compare to the live experience, so don't miss your chance to see them on stage when the time comes.

    Also, we will be taking Mission South to the studio this winter for their first full length album due out early next year, so stay tuned for more details on the upcoming CD Release party - you won't want to miss it.

Summer's just around the corner! Since our last update, VanShess has been doing a lot behind the scenes, get ready for a new Mission South release, courtesy of Park Triangle Productions and Hit and Run Studios! We're planning a run of summer beach parties and some live shows in the area. We're also going to be getting the BethesJah kids back in the studio so they can record another smash hit. MERRY CHRISTMAS!! (if, of course, you observe the holiday...) So it's been a while, and I have a lot to rant about because we've been pretty active lately. We've established a rapport with Potomac-based band Obey the Theory who have been around the local music scene for a while now, and are excited to be working with them. They're great bunch of musicians with a unique sound, and their a cool group of guys, really the complete package. In Mission South news, we've started recording their full length album that is scheduled to drop this spring. We'll be booking shows for them in the DC area to support the release. Look back for further developments on both OTT and Mission South.

Last Saturday, September 23, drummer Max Harwood had a house party that a few of you were lucky enough to be at. They played a great 6 song set and captured all the magic on CD. I got ahold of the recording today and just finished editing it and splitting up the tracks. If you're a Dispatch, Pepper or Slightly Stoopid fan you'll love the covers.
